One Sided

You seem pretty cool.
Want to hang out sometime?
Are you there?
Did you know we actually have a lot in common?
Well...
I'd love to get to know you.
You seem pretty interesting.
I think we'd have a lot of stuff to talk about.
If we ever talked.

Hello,
Are you there?
I hope you're doing well.
I heard you've been getting into that new book.
Is it good?
I've been thinking about reading it too.
Are you free this afternoon?
Would you want to meet up?
We could just hang out.
Its been a while since I saw you.
I hope things are going well.
It would be fun to catch up.
If we ever talked.

Hi...
How are you?
I hope you are well.
I've been alright.
I hope you've been able to make good friends here.
I'm still working on it personally.
It really takes time,
And energy.
I hope it will pay off.
But it's stressful,
Right now.
Sometimes things don't work out.
When they seem like they should.
Or when they seem like they could.
I'm sure we could have been friends.
We could have been good friends.
...
If we ever talked.

Harmony

There is a special lenience given to all owlets under a certain age, but after that age, the lenience is gone.  In our society we stress the importance of our
awareness
to everything around us.  Starting with self-
awareness,
we hope that our townsfolk learn self-respect and confidence, but as they progress they will mix these lessons with a sense of social-
awareness
resulting in a humble and respectful attitude towards others.  Social-
awareness
is one of the most important ideas to understand in order to live in our world with
harmony.
It is hard to have tolerance for people who do not show respect for others.  This simple concept, that should be considered common sense, is upheld with high respect in our district, and is punished severely if not abided by.

A Tyto Tradition

One of the many traditions we have here in our
section of the big city is that someone always
knows the whereabouts of someone else in our
society.  We have it constructed so that no one
is ever left completely out of the picture.  It
serves to build our awareness of others and
to help everyone feel more connected and
welcomed in our community.  The simple
knowledge that someone cares about you,
enough to never forget you,
is actually quite comforting.
